PIC-0183I’ve stepped up and FINALLY recorded another episode of the podcast.  I tried to catch you up on what has been going on with me since my last episode…several months ago.  If you want to know what has been happening to me, take a listen.  You can leave me a message/comment here on the website, to me via e-mail (Thom@ThomTakesOnTheWorld.com) or even a voice mail message.

I will not be stopping podcasting.  I will keep on doing this until I get bored.

Thanks for being patient and hanging in there!

Thom

PIC-0183Thanks to you, my friends, I have crossed into having 2,000 downloads.  Just a few short months ago I was hoping for 1,000 downloads.  I’m really not a numbers whore, but I really appreciate all who have been listening to my little podcast out here.  Crossing another line in podcasting is something that I want to celebrate with everyone out there.

Like my loafers?

ttotw-headshotCelebrating ONE year of podcasting, I give you a little historical background of how I got started doing my podcast.  I then give the mic over to several of my fellow podcasters who sent me some wonderful greetings.  Guess who won the Nashville Coffee Mug for sending me the most innovative and funny file?  It took a long time putting this episode together, but it was a lot of fun as well.  I hope that you will enjoy this one.  It’s been a rough year for me, as you can learn from my episodes thus far, however having you there with me through it all certainly has helped.  Thank you for being my friends who care and who download my episodes.

Keep in touch with my by leaving me your comments or sending me e-mail to: Thom@ThomTakesOnTheWorld.com  I always look forward to hearing from you.  You can also leave me a rating on iTunes if you’d like.  Keep in touch!

piles-of-cables-and-computer-wIn this episode, I mention the pieces of equipment that Nick Thomas gave him way back in January.  They were used in the making episode.  Please let me know what you think about this change.  Have you noticed any improvements?  Were there any problems?  Just post away!

I give a lot of “shout outs” to my “peeps”!

I give you a few short updates of my health and my Greyhounds.  Tune in to hear more.

Send me some mp3 files to congratulate me on a one year of podcasting.

children-jump1aIn this new episode I give you an update to my results of my tests that I recently had.  It’s not all good news.  It’s something that I am concerned about.  Thank you so very much for your support during this time in my life.

I chat also about my podcast.  I am getting close to 1,000 downloads.  Please help me get there before my one year anniversary.  Spread the word and download those episodes that you have not downloaded.  I also talk about how my blog has attracted the attention of spammers.  Ughs!

In this episode, I also chat about how I have been successful with training Connor to keep his crate clean.  He has been coming out of his shell and been playing with toys.  It’s cool to see him having fun.

I then expressed my concern of a child in my neighborhood.  We need to keep the children that we have safe from predators that lurk around seeking to do evil.  Listen to what I experienced today with a girl who walked into my yard.

Please send me comment or e-mail in response to this episode.  I am interested in hearing what you have to say.  It is an important topic.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you have a great day!

Thom
