I now have Episode 019 published to iTunes.  I know that there have been some of you who asked me how that all works.  Go ahead and download on iTunes on your computer.  It’s free.  Open up iTunes, go to iTunes Store and go to the Podcast Section.  I am in the Society and Culture section and under Personal Journal.  You can also type in my podcast name, “Thom Takes On The World” to find it.  After finding it, go ahead and subscribe to it.  It is FREE to do that and each time that you open iTunes, you will receive any new episodes that may have been posted.

In this new episode, I discuss the many things that I am thankful for.  I hope that you will be able to spend your Thanksgiving with those whom you love.  Take some time and give some thanks.  Let us never forget to remember those who have elevated us to where we are today.

Have youselves a GREAT THANKSGIVING!

Hey Gang,

I’m looking for a new co-host for a conversational styled podcast. There are, however, prerequisites that you must qualify for in order to do so:

Be originally from New Jersey
Be currently living in the “South”
Be a male above the age of 21
Be able to chat about “adult nature”  and gay issues
Have Skype downloaded onto your computer
Have a good set of headphones
Have a good microphone
Be willing to record an episode weekly

If you meet all of these criteria and don’t mind laughing it up, let me know via e-mail. Put in the subject line: “Co-Host” so it will not be automatically deleted. There is no pay for this position, just self satisfaction of a job well-done.

The style of the podcast is to be one of a conversation to discuss what has been going on in your life, how we don’t do things in the South like we did when we lived in New Jersey, and whatever other things we feel like discussing. This podcast will contain conversations of an adult nature which would not be suitable for those under 21 years of age. It will be sent to iTunes and will contain its own blog.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have been really enjoying watching the drum and bugle corps compete with eachother. I have now been to two shows: Louisville and Murfreesboro. The shows from each corps are packed with great music and marching. I am looking forward to next weekend (Friday and Saturday evenings) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I have my tickets and am ready to go! From what I have read, Drum Corps International will not be broadcasting on cable this year so you can either catch them live or on the DCI website if you become a subscriber. Go to www.DCI.org and look it up.

Who are you going to root for? I know who I am rooting for. I’ll be posting another episode of Thom Takes On The World on iTunes tomorrow. I’ll be chatting about my favorite television shows and respond to your comments of my blog and podcast.

Thom
