Rue McClanahan passed away today of a brain hemorrhage. She played Blanche on the, “Golden Girls”. She performed on television in many series but she is remembered most for that character. This leaves Betty White, who played Rose, the last of the Golden Girls. Rue, thank you for being a friend.

Rue McClanahan was a great actress! Sorry to hear that she will be missed by all of her loyal fans! Rue was only 76 years old! You are right Thom, Betty White is the last Golden Girl and she is still going strong and well at 88 years old!
