pic-0169pic-0172pic-0173Jared and I took a trip down to Birmingham, Alabama yesterday.  I stopped by Nick Thomas’ home and was interviewed on his podcast (adult).  Nick surprised me with some awesome recording equipment for me to use to improve the sound quality of my podcasts.  THANK YOU NICK!!!

After being interviewed about Greyhounds and Drum and Bugle Corps, Jared and I went to the Birmingham Race Course to look for a brother for him.  Jared had shown signs last week of depression and hyper anxiety.  He even tried to break out of his crate several times and almost killed himself in the process.  Take a look and figure out which of the dogs shown here came home with us to become Jared’s new brother.  I changed his name to, “Connor”.  I’ll be chatting about this in episode 26 when I can record again.  Thank you all for keeping in touch with me through your e-mails and your comments.  They sure do mean a lot!

Your Nashville Friend,

Thom (and Jared and Connor)

The greyhound racing industry is a very exciting one. It is great to have a bet and see your dog win. The only thing more exciting than betting on a winner is if the dog that wins a race is your own dog.

The dogs are beautiful and I am glad you are adding one of them into your home!
