Just thought that I would whet your appetite for Monday’s podcast (Episode 005). I will be talking about drum and bugle corps. It’s my addiction. If you enjoy music, drama, dance, and athleticism, you will enjoy drum corps.

I’ve posted above a video of the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps from 1991. They went all out this year to dazzle you with music, uniforms, and design. They accomplished that winning their first championship. They went away after their 1993 season and became Blast…a musical theatre experience. They really pushed the envelope regarding music and design.

I hope that you will enjoy this video and the upcoming podcast. Please leave me a message here on my blog. I am also looking for reviews on my podcast, “Thom Takes On The World”. This is your chance to talk to me.

Beautiful red and white fireworks

I hope that you will all celebrate a day of independence.  I hope that we all will take a moment to express our gratitude towards all of those who have given us this gift of independence from our enemies that would want to take over this wonderful country.  We live in the very best country in the world.  Yes, we have certain flaws, but our heart is good.  We are the most giving country on earth.  We give the most money and other items of charity.  Our giving has actually increased though we are facing some difficult times financially.

One of my ancestors signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.  I hope that, if he could look down to see me, would be proud of me.  I guess that I bleed red, white, and blue!

Happy Birthday United States of America!

Danny Boy and Jared

Well…I have been able to post this episode regarding my Greyhounds. Look for the little extra after the closing song. I thought that you would like to hear from Jared.

Thanks for being such great supporters for me.

What do I mean by that?  Did I toss my computer out the window?  Did I run over it with my truck?  Did I win the lottery?  NO!

I finally was able to upload another episode onto iTunes!  I’m so glad that I was able to do so.  I am currently working on yet another one that may go up in a few days.  Keep an eye out here for that announcement.  I will let you know when.

Episode 003 talks about all of my frustrations trying to get it off and running.  I hope that you will enjoy it.  Please feel free to leave a message here and to leave me comments and a rating (5 Star Please!!!) on iTunes.

Thank you ever so much for your patience!
