Hi There!
Thank you so very much for all the great support that you have given to my first episode of my podcast, “Thom Takes On The World”! I heard from Paul, Taffy, Tom, Nick, and NashvilleGut! I’ll mention your comments on my next podcast which is due out on Monday. I’ll also be discussing car drivers. You’ll like what I have to say…I hope. I’ve been a little busy this week so please forgive the lack of posting on this site and on other podcast sites that I listen to. So far there have been 17 downloads of my podcast…14 of just episode 001! That is beyond my expectations! I thought that I would have about 5 or so for the first episode.
Keep your ears and eyes open for my next episode on Monday!

Well…it is finally here! I have uploaded the first episode of my podcast, “Thom Takes On The World” today. You can download it through iTunes right now. I worked on it quite diligently and hope that you will enjoy it. I will get the hang of audio mixing as time goes by, but I think that I did a pretty good job. Please be a subscriber to my podcast so you will not miss out on any episodes. I will try to alert you when they are posted.
This is also a new beginning for me personally! It is my birthday. I thought that it would be appropriate to start my official entry into podcasting on my birthday…so I won’t forget when I began. I do hope that this new year in my life will be the best that I have ever had. I have a feeling that it will be a good one!
Thank you for being so loyal in reading my blog and I hope that you will be a loyal listener to my podcast. If you’d like, please tell others that I am now on the air. If you would like to write me a comment about my blog, please do so here. You can also write about my podcast either here as a comment or to me directly at: Thom@ThomTakesOnTheWorld.com.
I hope that all is well with you!

It sure took quite a while but I am finally on iTunes! I have to thank you all for your patience waiting for me to do this. You all have been so great to be so supportive.
Some one had asked me how often I plan on putting out an episode. I hope to put one out every week. If I decide to do it more or less often, I will let you know. Please remember that this is all new to me and that I am still in the learning process…and will be for quite a long time.
Thank you for being there for me! Now I can be there for you! Just download me on iTunes!

I just wanted to wish all of you Mothers out there a happy day. I hope that you receive the love and admiration for who you are on this, your special day! By the way, that picture does not contain my mother’s image. It is Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced “boo-kay”) from “Keeping Up Appearances” - a BBC sit-com aired about ten years ago but still seen on most PBS channels. If you still have your mother around, pay her the honor due her.
Love you, Mom!

I have finally found out how to post my audio files to a server and then connect with iTunes. I don’t know when they will approve me…or IF they will…but I hope to hear from them in a few weeks. Keep your eyes open for it. I appreciate all of your support and help along the way. What you will see on iTunes, when it is posted, is only a sample of things to come. I am not going to call it “Episode 1″ because it is not a full-length edition of what I am wanting to do. When I know it has finally posted, I will let you know so you can take a listen to it. It has been a long journey to get this far. Many of you know just how crazy that I have been seeking answers. Thank you for your patience and for all of your help and well wishes. You are awesome!

I have moved from Blogspot to my own page that is hosted by Wright PC Consulting. I will have to learn now how to post audio files, but this is moving ahead with that goal that I have had for about a year. Keep your eyes tuned to this spot for newer posts!
