Jared passed away October 10th. He was a great friend/puppy/companion to those who knew him. May light perpetual shine upon him. I told him in his last minutes to keep his ears open so that when I cross the “bridge” and whistle, he will come running to meet me bringing along all the other departed fuzzy friends with him.
On October 22, Connor and I went to Birmingham to find him a brother to adopt. He chose a beautiful red Greyhound male named PH Roofie…now named Brodie. Brodie is a bit on the shy side but has come out of his shell quite rapidly. He is learning a lot about home and retirement life. He and Connor are getting along quite well.
A new companion has come into my life. He has been a delight and a joy. He is a blessing from God. I am indeed amazed at the hand of God.
I’ve been working on a few episodes of the Thom Takes On The World podcast so hang in there. I’ll have to catch you up better in the next episode. It may be a bit longer than normal but hopefully you will enjoy it nonetheless.

I have recorded a few episodes of my podcast and am editing them when I have a chance. I’m hoping to be able to start posting them by the end of next week. Work has gotten to me and caring for my puppies. All this and a certain special someone has taken some of my attention…and not in a bad way. I’m glad that my life is not centered around my podcast but rather centered around my little life here.
I will continue to create podcast episodes of, “Thom Takes On The World” but I cannot guarantee when you will be seeing them posted. I do appreciate your support for this website and my podcast. You may notice that I post more often on Facebook. Feel free to join that “Thom Takes On The World” group on FB. I’ll let folks there know when I post.
As always, I’m your Nashville Friend,
Thom

Just wanted to give you heads up about my newest episode: Episode 059! I chat about some of the Christmas activities that I had been up to and then I talk about some spiritual lessons that I have learned. I do hope that you enjoy it!
